The redesigned, fuel-injected CBR150R took its styling from the 2011 CBR250R, with the same style of fairing, headlight and tail. It went on sale in India in March 2012 as a rival to the Yamaha R15, keeping the DOHC four-valve single and six-speed box but adding PGM-FI injection and wider 17-inch tyres. Reviewers liked the handling and top-end pull but found low-rev torque weak and noted there was no ABS.
